Two arrested after taking turns shooting each other while wearing bulletproof vest

After a few drinks, these two nogs thought it would be fun to test out a new bulletproof vest. Shortly after, Sheriff’s deputies were called to Mercy Hospital to investigate a badly-bruised male who had been shot multiple times while wearing a bullet-proof vest.
He claimed someone from the edge of a tree line began shooting at him and his “asset” on Highway 12. (We are assuming his friend was the “asset”) He later admitted he made up the story because he didn’t want to get his friend in trouble, and what really happened was he had been drinking on his back deck and wanted his friend to shoot him with the vest on.
